  6. I bought this CD not really knowing much about this particular "album" but knowing that Bud Powell was a Master at the Jazz Piano. What I got was just unbelieveable. Since the master recordings were from & , this CD is mono but the remastering is just wonderful/5(41).
  7. On this second volume of this series (there was at least one more apparently),Bub Powell is presented in a totally different manner than on the first. Recorded entirely in a trio session with bassist George Duvivier and drummer Arthur Taylor on August 14th,,this album zeroes right in on Powell's piano/5(16).
